Especially an office with good design and facilities, can influence positively the effectiveness of the work environment and the users.

Steelcase has developed a number of research tools, to be able to create an organization-specific Inspiration office. The process starts with defining the company/project goals. These goals can be based on different assets like efficiency – for example: reducing removal costs – or effectiveness – for example: promoting communication between different departments within the company –.

Following the outcome of all the research performed by Steelcase, we have created 3 guidelines:

• Boost people potential
• Space as an emotional factor

Based on the company’s wishes en the outcome of organizational-specific research, one or more guidelines will be applied in the process of creating the new office design.
