The first office for graduates, the first space to call their own during their learning journey, and a space that they will use until they finish their paper. We looked at today’s spaces and most of them are small simple desks with a monitor, crammed in the next available space on the campus, lacking any sense of personalization or collaboration. In the context of a mobile student that no longer relays on a fixed desktop unit, their first dedicated space should also be more agile and modern. We are proposing a shared desk system that encourages students to stay connected to peers, present their work and ideas, and feel valued by the fittings of a creative space.
