Steelcase Ranked First In Eight Product Categories

January 6, 2009 – Grand Rapids, MI – Steelcase Inc. (NYSE:SCS), a global office environments manufacturer, today announced that it received the top ranking in eight categories in Contract Magazine’s year end Subscriber Survey.

Steelcase was ranked the top brand in the categories of casegoods, computer support furniture, conference tables, desks & credenzas, furniture systems, movable walls, storage & filing, and training tables.

“Steelcase is very proud to continue to be recognized as a favorite brand in these varying product categories,” said Jim Keane, president of Steelcase group. “This validation by architects, designers and facility managers underscores our ongoing commitment to developing products that enable workers to truly love how they work.”
