Premier Pinnacle Award recognizes performance and efficiency
Grand Rapids, MI – June 22, 2007 – Steelcase Health, a healthcare environments company, today announced that it has earned the Premier healthcare alliance 2007 “Pinnacle Award” for supplier performance that meets and exceeds the expectations of Premier and its members. This is the second consecutive year that Steelcase Health earned the Pinnacle award for consistent performance excellence with the Premier alliance.
Jeffrey Fredricksen, corporate sales manager for Steelcase Health, accepted the award at the 2007 Premier Annual Breakthroughs Conference & Exhibition in Orlando on June 19. The award is based on performance data collected during the year and shared with contracted suppliers through the Premier business line review process.
“The Premier Pinnacle Award honors elite suppliers who understand the importance of collaboration and strive for performance excellence. These suppliers are setting the standard for all of Premier’s contracted suppliers as we work together to improve the healthcare of our communities, and we are proud to bestow this honor upon Steelcase’s healthcare company – Steelcase Health,” said Mike Alkire, president of Premier Purchasing Partners, L.P.
The 2007 Premier Pinnacle Award was awarded to 13 suppliers out of 720 eligible contracted suppliers who have consistently achieved 2006 scorecard ratings of 95 percent or higher.
