Steelcase, the global leader in the office furniture industry, today launched Share It – their new intelligent storage solution.

Steelcase understands that space has never been as important to us as it is now. As working styles change and modernise, traditional storage facilities are rapidly becoming redundant. Share It is designed to provide efficient storage specifically for the way people want to work today. Share It provides a modular and diverse storage design concept to improve the performance of both people and space in the workplace. The complete Share It system consists of lockers, personal storage, team storage and meeting point storage.

Thanks to its modularity, Share It makes it easy to structure team spaces and to utilise previously inefficient areas of the office. Storage units double as space dividers and communication zones for team work or collaboration, whilst at the same time incorporating sound absorbent fabrics and screening to reduce noise and disturbance.

Share It supports collaboration and team work by enabling units to double-up as wipe clean work surfaces. ‘Touch-down’ points with integrated storage can be used for informal discussions and impromptu meetings.

Steelcase has produced the Share It range for the modern office, focusing on maximising the use of space but without compromising on quality or style. The launch of Share It offers an affordable and adaptable product that gives freedom to the user while still retaining the essential Steelcase quality and styling. Users can also personalise their workspace by choosing among the wide range of finishes and materials. The high quality finishes on the elegant 8mm front, makes it eminently suitable for executive office use. While its sleek and simple finishes for standard front 19mm version, provides just the right ambiance for an inspiring, modern office.

Sustainability is embedded in everything we do, and Share It was developed with sustainability in mind. It is composed of 17% recycled materials, and contains no hazardous materials. It is manufactured in our factory in Durlangen, Germany, which is certified ISO 14001 and EMAS II. Share It is 97% recyclable by weight.
