Beginning in 1912 as the Metal Office Furniture Company in Grand Rapids, Michigan, we transformed the way customers thought about office furniture by offering an alternative to the standard wood furnishings of the era. Metal wastebaskets were our start but were quickly followed by desks, chairs and other office solutions.
