Singapore, 3 September 2009– Steelcase Inc. (NYSE: SCS), a global office environments company whose architecture, furniture and technologyhelps people have a better work experience, announced the opening of Steelcase WorkLife in Singapore.

Like all Steelcase WorkLife located in key cities around the world, the Singapore opening is yet another showcase for Steelcase knowledge, product and services.

This is part of Steelcase’s aim to emerge as the leading office environments manufacturer operating in Asia Pacific. By providing broader capabilities in distribution, product portfolio and manufacturing, the global leader is in a key position to support the expansion plans of Steelcase customers throughout Asia.

Mr. Uli Gwinner, President of Steelcase Asia Pacific officiated at the openingceremony and met with members of the media, Singapore’s design elite and Steelcase customers.

The 12 THINK creations were showcased during the opening and will be exhibited at the established creative commune, Old School from 4 – 10 September 2009.
