About the Challenge
The COVID-19 pandemic has increased educational inequalities highlighting the growing global crisis surrounding student and teacher wellbeing. Research shows teachers and students are more stressed, anxious and depressed than ever before. These issues are at the heart of our Equity in Education Challenge.
Phase 1: Open Innovation Workshops
A series of four interactive workshops pairing Steelcase research into wellbeing with tools to discover, define, develop, and deliver new ideas.
Phase 2: Fellowship Program
Up to 15 Fellows will be supported with capital, tools, and a two-month program designed to boost their organization’s culture of innovation.
Who’s invited to join
Educational Institutions: Educators and administrators from preschool to post-secondary educational institutions.
Social Enterprises, NGO’s and Government: Individuals from organizations focused on supporting students, teachers, and/or schools facing inequities.
How might we leverage this time of global disruption to reimagine equity and wellbeing in our teaching and learning environments?
