Join us for a Partner Panel with Janay Brower, Founder and CEO of Public Thread, and Kristina Notz, Executive Director of the Social Entrepreneurship Academy (SEA), on exploring bold circular business models and unleashing the creative power of youth to enhance the health of our planet. During the session, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in conversation with both Janay and Kristina.
- Public Thread is a woman-owned textile upcycling company that designs and makes sewn products from surplus and scrap textiles in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Janay mixes creativity and systems with a focus on disruption and advancing racial and economic equity. She has a BA in Public Policy with a concentration in International Relations, is a mother of teenage daughters, and a community activist.
- Social Entrepreneurship Academy sees education as the key to societal change. SEA trains people to take responsibility for society, our planet and the future. Kristina is driven by the vision to enable entrepreneurial minds to shape a better world and lead systemic change. She holds an M.A. in Political Science, European Law and French and graduated from Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich and Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Aix-en-Provence, France.
