Our Munich location is home to our second Learning + Innovation Center – a hub located in one of Europe’s emerging design cities. With a focus on people, place and technology, the space was built to bridge time zones in our vast global network and bring our leadership community, employees, dealers, thought leaders and guests together to lead, learn and innovate the future of work. Learning + Innovation Center
The Munich Learning + Innovation Center – the newest node on the Steelcase global network – is a 14,400 sq m space designed for employees, dealers, customers, influencers and guests from around the world to lead, learn and innovate together.
The three-building campus opened in 2017 and houses over 230 employees from 21 nationalities in product development, sales, finance, communications, order fulfillment, IT, marketing, supply chain, human resources and legal.
Inside, you will find a stunning WorkCafé, Model Shop and Test Lab, learning studios, our Leadership Community and one of Europe’s largest doors!

Our Munich campus is conveniently located in the center of Munich, one of Europe’s most well-connected cities.
Just under 40 kilometers from Europe’s first five-start airport, Munich International Airport (MUC), visitors can reach us by car, taxi, bus or take a convenient train from the airport to the city’s central train station, just a short walk away.
Due to its central location, the campus can also be reached by train from many other European destinations.
