The resilience of people and businesses are more important than ever. Businesses are being, and will be, disrupted by what’s happening in the economic, political and competitive landscape. Their ability to quickly adapt to those disruptions while maintaining and accelerating business operations and engaging people is key to success.

The work environment plays a significant role in building and further sustaining business resilience in many respects, including the level of employee engagement, distinct company culture, the ability to quickly adapt to changing requirements in the workplace, and more.

Together with her team in Europe, Lisa Glassner participates in Steelcase’s major research projects aiming to inform about key behavioral implications of the changing way we will work in the future.

Lisa has an international background within global companies such as L’Oréal and Starbucks, shaping people’s behavior and enhancing leadership capabilities. Prior to her current role, Lisa led the Learning & Development group for Steelcase in Europe. Her thorough knowledge of the learning function helps her to identify key insights for desired behavioral change, while translating them into requirements for the work environment. She will lead this Energy Lab.
