The company was founded in 1997 by three designers, John Christakos, Maurice Blanks and Charlie Lazor, who wanted to bring good design to as many people as possible by creating products that are useful, affordable and desirable.

Bolia is an award-winning Danish design company with a passion for Nordic design traditions, sustainable materials and top-notch craftsmanship.

With that in mind, Extremis makes furniture suited for outdoors and indoors in completely non-standard ways.
A collection of Extremis outdoor furniture is expected to be available in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico in late summer 2018.
