Designtex is a celebration of imaginative minds and fact-based knowledge coming together to offer performance-based, environmental solutions. As part of Steelcase Select Surfaces, the Designtex collection includes an extensive range of choice through new product introductions, as well as fabrics previously recognized through the Designtex Graded-In program. This vast selection of upholstery and vertical surface fabrics provides a unique opportunity to achieve the highest level of design, sustainability and performance. We have completed the transition of the Designtex patterns with 4-digit Steelcase finish codes (formerly known as the “Designtex Graded-In” program) to the new order process for Select Surfaces. These finishes are NOT culled. As of March 21, 2011, Designtex finishes that had been supported with a 4-digit finish code are now orderable via the Select Surfaces model.
